SixKings is a made-to-order leather atelier. We hold only the information needed to build your pair, take payment, and keep your measurements on record for your next commission — nothing more.

Privacy Policy
This policy explains how Six Kings Brand (Pty) Ltd, trading as SixKings ("we", "us"), collects, uses, and protects your personal information, in line with the Protection of Personal Information Act, 2013 (POPIA).
Responsible party & Information Officer
Six Kings Brand (Pty) Ltd, trading as SixKings, of Shop 11, Greenlyn Village, Menlo Park, Pretoria, South Africa, is the responsible party for the personal information described here. Information we collect
- Contact details — name, email, phone or WhatsApp number, delivery address.
- Commission details — your foot measurements, size, and the leather, construction, finishing and fit choices for your pair.
- Payment information — processed by our payment provider; we do not store your card details.
- Site usage — basic technical data (e.g. pages viewed) where analytics are enabled, used only to improve the site.
Why we collect it (purpose)
- To build, fit, and deliver your made-to-order pair.
- To take payment and provide proof of payment and order confirmation.
- To keep your measurements on record so a future commission can be made to the same fit.
- To respond to enquiries and provide aftercare (resole and repair).
- To send you updates about your commission, and — only with your consent — occasional news about the atelier.
Who we share it with
We share personal information only with the operators needed to fulfil your commission, each bound to process it solely on our instruction:
- Payfast — to process your payment securely.
- Our hosting provider — to operate this site and store records securely.
- Couriers — to deliver your pair, where applicable.
- WhatsApp / Meta — where you choose to commission or correspond with us via WhatsApp.
We do not sell your personal information. Some of these operators may process data outside South Africa; where they do, we rely on their own compliance safeguards and the protections required under POPIA for cross-border transfers.
How we protect it
The site runs over a secure (HTTPS) connection behind a firewall, and access to your records is limited to the people who need it to serve you. We keep your information only as long as needed for the purposes above, or as the law requires (for example, tax records), after which it is securely deleted.
Your rights
Under POPIA you may, free of charge and through any reasonable channel (including the email or WhatsApp number above):
- Ask what personal information we hold about you, and request a copy.
- Ask us to correct or update it.
- Ask us to delete it, where we are not required to keep it.
- Object to its processing, including for direct marketing — we will inform you of this right when we collect your details.
- Withdraw consent you have given, at any time.
If you believe we have not handled your information lawfully, you may lodge a complaint with the Information Regulator (South Africa) through its eServices Portal at inforegulator.org.za. We would, however, welcome the chance to put it right first — please reach the Information Officer above.
Cookies
This site uses only the cookies needed to operate it (for example, to keep your session and cart working). Where any non-essential or analytics cookies are used, you may decline them without affecting your ability to commission a pair.
Commission Terms
These terms apply when you commission footwear or aftercare from Six Kings Brand (Pty) Ltd, trading as SixKings.
Made to order
Every pair is made to order — built to your chosen specification and, where you provide them, your individual measurements. Because each pair is made specifically for you, it is treated as a custom-made good.
Pricing & payment
Prices are shown per model and include delivery within South Africa unless stated otherwise. Commissions are confirmed on payment in full, made securely through Payfast. We begin building once payment is confirmed.
Lead times
- Archive and Build commissions — approximately 2–3 weeks.
- Bespoke and Specialist Fit — confirmed upon commission.
- Resole — approximately 2–3 weeks. Repair — approximately 1–2 weeks.
Lead times are estimates from confirmation of payment and may vary with leather availability and atelier workload. We will keep you informed if a timeline changes.
Fit & measurements
Where you supply your own size or measurements, we build to those figures. If you are unsure of your fit, commission with the bench via WhatsApp and we will guide your measurements before we begin. We keep your measurements on record so future commissions match.
Returns & refunds
As each pair is made to order to your specification, it cannot be returned for a change of mind, in line with the exemption for custom-made goods under the Consumer Protection Act. This does not affect your rights where a pair is defective or not as commissioned: if something is wrong with your pair, contact us and we will assess, repair, remake, or refund as appropriate. We stand behind our work.
Aftercare — resole, not replace
Our footwear is built to be resoled and repaired rather than replaced. Resole and repair services are offered for SixKings footwear and are subject to the condition of the pair on assessment.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa.
